POSITION SUMMARY
Assist room attendants and deliver necessary supplies to the floors. Deliver various requested items to guests. Clean public and employee-only restrooms and showers. Clean windows in public and employee-only areas. Clean floors in public and employee-only areas using designated products, supplies, and equipment. Dust surfaces in the indicated areas. Empty trash bins and ashtrays in public areas into appropriate containers. Check the condition of furniture to ensure there are no tears, snags, or stains, and report any damage. Clean and maintain light fixtures. Set up warning signs to restrict access when necessary. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report maintenance issues or preventive maintenance needs in public areas or guest rooms.
Follow and apply all safety policies and procedures of the chain; report maintenance issues, accident risks, incidents, or injuries; complete training and obtain required safety certifications.
Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional. Respect the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company property. Support all colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving shared goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move at the required pace to respond to work situations. Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Grasp, rotate, and handle objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach for objects above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and crouching. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Navigate sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Climb up and down ladders. Climb up and down stairs and service ramps. Move, lift, carry, and place items weighing up to 55 pounds (25 kg) without assistance, and over 55 pounds (25 kg) with assistance. Be able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work devices over sloped and uneven surfaces. Stand, kneel, sit, or walk for extended periods or frequently throughout a full shift. Perform any other duties requested by supervisors that align with the role.
