Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Economist to work on contract providing data analysis and economic insights in support of cyber mission assurance initiatives by; conducting research, developing forecasts, and providing evidence-based recommendations for program and policy decisions.
Collect and validate data from various internal stakeholders to support program monitoring
Analyze and interpret economic and operational data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps
Develop models to forecast outcomes and assess program effectiveness
Create and maintain data dashboards, performance tracking tools, and visual reports
Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership and decision-making
Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide actionable recommendations
Conduct research to explain and forecast economic behaviour related to program objectives
Advise leadership on the effectiveness of strategies and provide insights to optimize outcomes
Support the development of reports, frameworks, and documentation for performance measurement and accountability
Provide input to inform program direction and policy considerations based on data-driven analysis
Senior-level economist with education in economics or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience conducting economic research and analysis
Demonstrated experience collecting, validating, and analyzing data to support decision-making
Proven ability to forecast economic indicators and assess the effectiveness of strategies or programs
Experience developing models to analyze and predict economic behaviour or program outcomes
Skilled in producing dashboards, visualizations, and briefing products for leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presentations
English essential language profile
Secret level of security clearance
