Our client in the healthcare services industry is hiring a Sales & Business Development Specialist for a contract role. This position will focus on expanding the organization’s reach by securing new business opportunities, managing proposal submissions, and supporting targeted marketing efforts. The role is essential in helping the team dedicate a strategy for growth in the healthcare space.
Location & Work Model: Fully remote (occasional in-person client meetings; access to a vehicle is required)
Schedule/Hours: Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Contract Duration: ASAP until December 11th
Identify, pursue, and secure new B2B opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers
Manage end-to-end sales activities including outreach, relationship management, and follow-ups
Respond to requests for services (RFS) and prepare proposals tailored to client needs
Support the development of competitive bids and responses to RFPs
Monitor opportunities in the healthcare sector and position the organization against competitors
Collaborate internally to ensure alignment on service offerings and proposal strategy
Contribute to branding efforts and manage occasional marketing communications
3–5 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, and healthcare-related sales
Strong background responding to RFPs or RFSs, including drafting and customizing proposals
Previous experience selling or partnering with healthcare organizations (e.g. hospitals, long-term care, pharma or medical equipment)
Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry structures
Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple leads and deadlines
G class driver’s license and access to a vehicle
