Imagine being at the forefront of a transformation—one where learning isn’t just a support function, but a strategic force shaping the future of technology and talent. That’s the opportunity at hand.
As Manager of Cloud & AI Learning, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture of continuous growth across Technology & Operations. Your mission? To design and deliver learning experiences that not only upskill our people in cloud and AI, but also align with the broader vision of our talent strategy.
You’ll work closely with business leaders to understand where we’re headed—and what skills will get us there. From there, you’ll craft learning journeys that are as ambitious as they are practical. Whether it’s launching a new AI learning toolkit, refining a cloud certification path, or embedding learning into the flow of work, you’ll be the architect behind it all.
At BMO, we’re united by a shared purpose: Boldly Grow the Good in business and life. We foster a culture that values integrity, curiosity, and collaboration—where every voice matters and every employee is empowered to make a difference.
But this isn’t just about programs and platforms. It’s about people. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping teams navigate change, embrace new technologies, and unlock their potential. You’ll analyze what’s working, what’s not, and where we can go next—always with an eye on impact.
You’ll bring a deep understanding of cloud and AI (ideally with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure), a sharp strategic mind, and a passion for making learning stick. You’re someone who thrives in complexity, sees ambiguity as opportunity, and knows how to turn insight into action.
This role is about more than managing learning—it’s about shaping the future of how we grow, lead, and innovate. If you’re ready to make that kind of impact, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Learning Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic input and recommendations on learning initiatives that support business objectives.
• Program Design & Continuous Improvement: Design, evaluate, and enhance learning programs using data insights, stakeholder feedback, and industry trends to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Insight-Driven Learning Solutions: Analyze complex business challenges and performance gaps to develop targeted, cost-effective learning strategies and solutions.
• Sustainment & Risk Mitigation: Develop measurable sustainment strategies that address industry-specific risks and leverage opportunities from internal and external sources.
• Enterprise Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate across departments to align messaging, support change initiatives, and ensure consistent communication that drives behaviour change.
• Execution & Governance: Oversee the delivery of learning programs, manage vendor relationships, track performance metrics, and ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
