Our federal Government client is seeking a Senior Program Administrator to provide expert advice and staff assistance in the concept development and practical implementation of Operational Support capabilities in Ottawa. This is an on-site 48-week contract.

Tasks

  • Draft, coordinate, facilitate, and report on the development of an operational support development campaign plan.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand current practices, challenges, and emerging trends related to operational support capabilities in a contemporary operating environment.  
  • Draft concepts related to operational support for the client's operations in a contemporary operating environment.
  • Draft options for investment into the client's force structure.
  • Draft Statements of Capability Deficiency (SOCD) for operational support deficiencies identified during campaign planning. 
  • Initiate project documentation in accordance with the Project Approval Directive (PAD) for capabilities required for the client's operational support. 
  • Prepare presentations, briefings, and other materials to effectively communicate key observations, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and relevant entities to cohere efforts related campaign plan implementation. 
  • Advise on the implementation of doctrine and training related to operational support capabilities. 
  • Undertake other duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • 48 months relevant experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the past 5 years in analyzing, planning, or managing operational support and sustainment

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the past 5 years in developing or contributing to operational-level doctrine, concepts, capabilities, or procedures

  • NATO Secret clearance is required
