As a Security Supervisor, you will be leading a team of officers, ensuring that all security systems are actively monitored and that incidents are handled promptly and effectively. You will act as the primary point of contact for escalated security incidents and coordinate responses with internal teams and emergency services.

Responsibilities for Control Room Security Supervisor

• Supervise and lead control room operators and security staff during assigned shifts to maintain operational effectiveness 
• Monitor all security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarms, for suspicious or unusual activity. 
• Serve as the first point of contact for escalated security incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate response.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs, reports and documentation of all SOC activities and incidents.
• Review and verify the accuracy of daily reports submitted by SOC operators. 
• Ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), post orders and reporting protocols across the team. 
• Train, mentor, and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to SOC operators and new staff members.

Qualifications for Control Room Security Supervisor

• Must have a valid Alberta Security License
• 3 - 5 years of experience in security operations centre or similar enviornment 
• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Strong knowledge of secuirty systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
• Proficient in maintaining logs, reports and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowlegde of security SOPs, post orders and regulatory compliance
