Our client is seeking a Chaos Testing Lead with deep expertise in resilience testing for large-scale, business-critical payment systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying system vulnerabilities by designing and executing chaos engineering experiments aligned with ISO 20022 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a chaos testing strategy for high-availability payment systems

• Lead fault injection tests using tools like Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Chaos Toolkit

• Simulate outages and disruptions to assess system behavior under stress

• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and application teams to build robust, fault-tolerant systems

• Analyze outcomes, document findings, and drive improvements in system resilience

• Ensure alignment with disaster recovery, business continuity, and ISO 20022 compliance

• Promote a culture of proactive resilience and continuous improvement

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in QA, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles

• Hands-on experience with chaos engineering tools (e.g., Gremlin, Chaos Toolkit, Chaos Monkey)

• Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging and payments architecture

• Familiar with fault injection, monitoring/observability, and CI/CD practices

• Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical environments
