We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead and support the initial planning and preparation phase of an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation at The Ottawa Hospital. This strategic role is critical in laying the foundation for a successful implementation by guiding early-stage planning, stakeholder alignment, and business case development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the initial phase of Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation, including strategic planning, roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to define project scope, build the business case, and develop the execution plan.
• Establish a detailed project charter, outlining timelines, resource needs, budget estimates, and success criteria.
• Identify and document key dependencies, risks, and organizational readiness factors.
• Set up governance structures and define roles, responsibilities, and escalation pathways for the implementation team.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across clinical, operational, IT, and administrative groups.
• Monitor early indicators of scope creep or misalignment and take corrective action during the planning phase.
• Report planning progress to the Steering Committee and Executive Sponsors, escalating unresolved risks or issues.
• Assist with resource estimation and planning for subsequent design and implementation phases.
• Contribute to procurement planning, partner selection, and vendor onboarding processes where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preferably in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• 7 years of experience managing large-scale ERP or cloud-based transformation initiatives, ideally in healthcare.
• 10+ year of experience as a Project Manager 
• Strong understanding of program planning principles, enterprise system implementation readiness, and change management best practices.
• Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to guide high-level discussions and planning sessions.
• Experience developing business cases, conducting risk assessments, and defining project governance models.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and Azure; 
• PMP
