Introduction Paragraph
Contribute to the success of the Global Wealth and Insurance Audit Department by supporting the execution of audit plans and initiatives aligned with business strategies. This role ensures compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures while promoting a customer-focused culture. You’ll work with data analytics, evaluate internal controls, and support audit execution and reporting across the Global Wealth Management & Insurance audit universe.

 


Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:
• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
• Use data analytics to support audit testing and continuous monitoring
• Evaluate the design and operation of internal controls
• Assist in audit planning and execution for projects of low to moderate complexity
• Document audit work using TeamMate+ in accordance with department standards
• Identify and assess control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations
• Draft audit findings and reports with clear, concise communication
• Maintain effective client relationships with auditees and business line management
• Support special projects including investigations and ad hoc assignments
• Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment

 


Do You Have the Skills?
• Minimum of 2 years internal or external audit experience
• Basic knowledge of analytical tools such as Co-Pilot, Alteryx; coding/scripts knowledge is an asset
• Experience in Brokerages, Trust, Private Banking, Portfolio Management, Wealth Operations, and Insurance
• Working towards CPA or similar accounting designation preferred
• Working towards certifications such as CIA, CISA, CAMS, or CRMA is an asset
• Spanish language capability is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, audit software tools, and data analytics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify control weaknesses and recommend solutions
