As a Delivery Lead, you will ensure the successful delivery of software solutions within Canadian Digital Banking. You will lead and support Agile scrum teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics) and ensure the Agile methodology and principles are executed effectively.  You will identify, escalate and remove release and team impediments.  You will also manage the budget, schedule, risks, issues, reporting and governance of projects and production related activities.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

•    Take the lead in delivering complex projects with stakeholders that span multiple cross-functional teams.
•    Manage cost and effort estimation process, project schedule and budget.
•    Track and manage project risks, issues, action items and key decisions.
•    Mitigate risks and make sure the team is unblocked and can effectively complete their work.
•    Provide stakeholder and executive communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and relationship building.
•    Provide regular, standardized reporting for team performance: velocity, stories completed, project status.
•    Communicate with other teams to track and manage dependencies between teams.
•    Coordinate compliance and readiness procedures (Ex. Operational Readiness) with associated teams (Ex. Release Engineering, Security, etc.).
•    Lead and support Agile scrum teams.
•    Take the lead in resolving production problems and deployment of bug fixes.
•    Assist in architecture and designs of solutions. 
•    Assist Senior Management with various tasks such as creation of roadmaps, resource and capacity planning, team coordination, etc.


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

•    Highly technical and curious.
•    Excellent software development experience; preferably as software developer.
•    Demonstrated strong knowledge of Agile methodology while delivering complex IT projects. Ideally has Certified Scrum master certification (CSM / PSM).
•    5+ years’ experience and good knowledge and understanding of software delivery practices, disciplines, tools, and methodologies. 
•    Must have good understanding of release management and change management processes.
•    Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    The incumbent must be a creative, self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated.
•    Ability to work in cross functional teams.
•    Should work with minimal supervision.
•    Possess good problem-solving skills.
