Agilus is recruiting for an Inventory Control Junior Analyst in the Environmental Industry in Guelph, Ontario.
Agilus is seeking an Inventory Control Junior Analyst to work at a world-class manufacturing facility located in Guelph, ON working a steady day shift (7am-3:30pm). This facility produces UV water treatment systems for clients globally. In this role, the Inventory Control Junior Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the inventory and optimizing the warehousing operations. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing company inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts, efficient supply chain operations and timely product availability.
Accountabilities:
Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and root causes, and implement strategies to improve accuracy, reduce losses, and optimize inventory turns
Manage inventory adjustments, write-offs, and obsolescence activities in alignment with DOA limits and in coordination with Procurement and Operations leadership
Provide accurate and timely inventory reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to Procurement, Operations, and Finance, including support for month-end and year-end close activities
Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods through regular cycle counts, detailed record-keeping, and ownership of the cycle count program and annual physical inventory in compliance with company policies
Support forecasting, replenishment, and Kanban processes to ensure timely product availability and efficient inventory flow
Successful candidates will have:
Post-secondary education/college/diploma in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
3 to 5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, production or a related field preferable
Understanding of core finance principles and knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, production or a related field preferred
Knowledge of inventory control principals, including KanBan
Soft skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external partners
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
We offer:
$26-$28 per hour
Steady day shift: 7am-3:30pm
6 month contract with potential of permanent position
