Operational Resilience is an area of increasing focus for global regulators and expectations are evolving. Scotiabank is enhancing its operational resilience capabilities with the Enterprise Operational Risk function and is looking for a Senior Manager who will report to the Director, Operational Risk & Resilience, to support the governance, oversight and effective challenge of the Enterprise Operational Resilience program.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
5 years’ experience within risk management, operational resilience and/ or business continuity.
Experience leading or supporting cross functional change initiatives strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of financial institutions, infrastructures and markets required.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to deliver complex initiatives under challenging timelines.
Ability to identify, manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a global footprint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to prepare communications and
interact effectively with senior levels of management throughout the Bank. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to explain regulations and internal policy and procedure.
Undergraduate degree required.
Knowledge of Scotiabank’s organizational structure preferred.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment as to the materiality of risks where identified.
Proven time management skills and adaptability to address shifting priorities and manage competing priorities.
