Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Construction Industry in Brampton, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems within the industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) sectors. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and technical skills to manage projects, budgets, teams, and client relationships. A typical day: Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from conception to completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. Lead and mentor project teams including coordinators, supervisors, and field staff. Coordinate with general contractors, consultants, and clients for seamless execution. Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress billings. Ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and safety standards. Conduct and lead project meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Oversee subcontractor and supplier performance, procurement, and logistics. Successful candidates will have: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD). Strong communication and negotiation skills. PMP certification and valid driver’s license. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 8–10+ years of experience in mechanical project management (HVAC/plumbing). Proven track record managing projects valued at $5M–$20M+. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications.
