Agilus is recruiting for a Intermediate RBI Engineer in the Oil and Gas Sector in Fort McMurray, Alberta. RBI Engineer updating equipment strategies for fixed equipment. Evaluate damage mechanisms based on process conditions and inspection history to determine probability of failure and provide recommended mitigating actions. A typical day: Equipment strategies are a multi-discipline approach, so interaction with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations and process technical will be required. Manages own time and can address numerous issues simultaneously. Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. Knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements is an asset. Successful candidates will have: Undergraduate degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering. Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training status from APEGA. Additionally, candidates with previous work experience and previous use of PESTRA for equipment strategy development are preferred. GE APM experience is also preferred, specifically for those knowledgeable in API 581 methodologies, but is not a requirement.
