Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. Full time permanent opportunity! Reporting to the Manager - Projects, the Project Engineer will be an integral part of the Energy Solutions team. Responsibilities: Prepare and release, Shop (work) orders, Material Requisitions for Purchasing, Complete Package Bills of Material Act as a liaison between company and customers Sizing and selection of instrumentation Reviewing and applying customer specifications Adhere to the project schedule and report any changes to the scheduler Review and approve drawings to meet package, customer, and Code requirements, including, PFD’s, P&ID’s, 3D models, and GA’s, Process piping systems, Pressure vessels and heat exchangers Perform Over Pressure Protection by System Design (OPPSD) analysis Perform P&ID walk down of final package to ensure compliance with design Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred. Professional engineering license (P.Eng) or ability to register (PMP certification is an asset). Relevant experience in project engineering, preferably within oil and gas industry. Working knowledge of gas processing and fabrication. Knowledge of industry codes such as ASME Section VIII and B31.3. Familiarity in sizing/selection of pressure piping and instrumentation. Ability to read and interpret technical data sheets and drawings.
