The Catalog Vendor Enablement Specialist plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of catalog vendor onboarding, continuous improvement, and catalog enhancement. This role acts as a strategic partner to sourcing teams, vendors, and internal collaborators to ensure seamless catalog integration and optimal user experience on the procurement platform.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Catalog Vendor Onboarding

1. Pre-Onboarding Activities:

  • Collaborate with Sourcing Leads to assess vendor suitability for catalog enablement.
  • Advise on catalog type selection and best practices for structuring pricing data.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on catalog strategy and digital procurement optimization.

2. Project Management of Onboarding:

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for catalog vendors.
  • Request, validate, and manage catalog data submissions.
  • Coordinate with Platform Admins for Punch-out and/or Cxml catalog setup.
  • Develop and align catalog mock-ups with vendors and business units (BUs).
  • Act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful catalog and supplier portal deployment.
  • Document key decisions, changes, and variations throughout the onboarding process.

3. Post-Onboarding Support:

  • Provide troubleshooting support to vendors and BUs.
  • Ensure adherence to catalog processes and policies.
  • Lead the catalog renewal and update process.

B. Catalog Design and Enhancement

  • Gather and analyze feedback from users and collaborators to improve catalog usability and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular spend analysis (catalog and non-catalog) to identify opportunities for catalog expansion and supplier rationalization.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of new catalog features to enhance user experience and reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with the S2P Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

C. Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist the Manager, Supplier Enablement with additional vendor onboarding and enablement activities as needed.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to digital procurement transformation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supplier enablement, or catalog management.
  • Strong project management and collaborator engagement skills.
  • Experience with Catalog enablement for procurement platforms (e.g., Ivalua, SAP Ariba, Coupa)
  • Experience with CXML catalog implementation
  • Strong knowledge in leveraging different catalog types (hosted, punch-out).
  • Analytical mindset with experience in spend analysis and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with supplier onboarding and digital procurement transformation.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement contract terms
  • Knowledge of eProcurement systems and supplier portals.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD
