This position does not have overnights and varies week to week based on needs. The hours of work while varied are set within the retail store hours and as such you will work occasional weekends and afternoons. Must be available between the hours of 0900-2100, 7 days a week for various shifts and enjoy a flexible schedule. 

Pay Rate: $22.78/Hour

Schedule: Full Time, Rotating hours

Responsibilities for a retail Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Serve as a visual deterrent to shoplifting and robbery attempts 

Qualifications for a retail Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• Valid First aid certification from a WSIB approved provider (Emergency or Standard)
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift
• Be able to work 40-44 hrs per week and not returning to school this September 
• At lease 6 months experience as a Security Guard OR working in a retail environment
• Proficient verbal and written English communication
