Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Piping / Layout Designer in the Oil and Gas industry in Edmonton, Alberta. The Senior Piping/Layout Designer plays a key role within the drafting team and reports to the Drafting Manager. Responsibilities: Check & update P&ID’s Create accurate 3D layout & piping models Take the lead in 3D model reviews Check and approve vendor supplied drawings Produce fabrication isometric drawings Create and detail general arrangement drawings Create pressure vessel models and fabrication details and assist piping checker as and when required Mentor junior and intermediate designers Successful candidates will have: 10+ years experience in piping and layout design Proficient in the use of Cadworx 3D software and AutoCAD (2D and 3D) Strong knowledge in the use of Isogen for spool generation Strong knowledge in plant processes and layout Excellent communication Skills Ability to work individually or as part of a team Foster a culture that promotes leadership in health and safety, ethical businesses practices, individual integrity, social responsibility and operational performance Total rewards: Permanent role Attractive pay and benefits Opportunity to work with one of the leaders in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning of energy solutions
