Job Summary:

Altis is seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (1909 or higher), ABAP CDS views, and AMDP, as well as hands-on experience building and extending applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, building scalable and secure solutions, and collaborating across teams to support digital transformation initiatives. This is a 6 month contract with possible extension. The role is hybrid with an expectation to be onsite 3 days per week in the Downtown Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance custom applications using SAP S/4HANA (1909 or above).
• Create and maintain ABAP CDS views and AMDP procedures.
• Design and implement RAP-based extensions and enhancements.
• Lead the development and deployment of end-to-end SAP BTP applications.
• Work with Flexible Workflows, Build Apps, and Business Process Automation tools.
• Manage RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Integrate various systems using SAP Cloud Connector, APIs, and ODATA services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA 1909 or newer.
• Hands-on expertise in ABAP CDS views and AMDP.
• Proven experience working with RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).
• Solid understanding of SAP integrations using Cloud Connector, APIs, and ODATA.
• Delivered at least two full-cycle BTP applications.
• Familiarity with tools such as Flexible Workflows, Build App, and Business Process Automation.
• Proficient in managing RICEFW objects.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Must be available to work Eastern Time (EST) hours.

Nice to Have / Preferred:

• Exposure to CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) for cloud-native apps.
• End-to-end implementation experience with SaaS applications like Ariba or Business Networks.
• Experience with Adobe Forms.
• Broader functional domain knowledge across ERP modules.
• SAP certifications are a plus.
