Salary: $86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
 

The Procurement Sourcing Manager reports to Director, North America Sourcing and is responsible for the end-to-end execution of the sourcing process for large complex sourcing and contracting initiatives. The incumbent oversees sourcing strategy development, supplier selection and contract negotiations consistent with an overall Sourcing strategy and business unit objectives.  

The Procurement Sourcing Manager will lead project teams that include business unit collaborators, subject matter experts and Sourcing Analysts.  It is expected that the individual will bring extensive strategic sourcing experience and contribute to the development and application of procurement and sourcing best practices across the organization.

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to complete medium to high value/complexity sourcing projects and contracting efforts
  • Conduct in-depth analysis (pricing and contractual), determine sourcing strategy, and complete sourcing projects (such as RFx, single/sole sourcing, renewals, amendments)
  • Leverage market and supplier intelligence for development of sourcing and negotiation strategies
  • Work with business partners to collect and finalize requirements necessary to evaluate and select suppliers
  • Drive and lead the negotiation process, with consultative support, as required, from business, legal and risk
  • Proactively coordinate and schedule meetings with external resources and internal subject matter experts
  • Independently provide leadership and support to a team of indirect reports on sourcing projects

Job Requirements:

  • Sourcing experience in any of the following categories is an asset: business print, professional services, business process outsourcing or contact center
  • Proven experience in delivering large savings and value in a procurement function
  • Undergraduate degree with a business management focus
  • MBA and/or industry certifications such as NISCL – SCL, CSCMP, CPSM is an asset
  • 6+ years of progressive business experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
  • Knowledgeable in Ivalua is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
