Position Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, validation, and visualization.
Identify and assess data sources across business functions (e.g., Operations, IT, HR), and design strategies to integrate and consolidate them into usable formats.
Lead data hygiene and mapping efforts by cleansing and standardizing datasets, and developing clear data dictionaries that bridge technical structures with business definitions.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability.
Reporting & Visualization (25%)
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support strategic KRIs and operational insights.
Standardize reporting methodologies across workstreams and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.
Train and support business users to increase adoption and self-service analytics capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Education (20%)
Serve as a bridge between business, technology, and analytics teams ensuring alignment on data architecture, tooling, and priorities.
Provide basic training and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members on AI tools, data literacy, and reporting best practices.
Support change management efforts by translating technical solutions into business value and actionable insights.
Innovation & Enablement (10%)
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance data processes through automation, low-code/no-code tools, and workflow optimization.
Leverage platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build scalable, user-friendly solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to pilot and scale process improvements that drive efficiency and support operational goals.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices, enabling self-service capabilities, and supporting digital literacy across the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, data management, or business intelligence roles.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate) or other low-code/no-code tools to support automation and self-service solutions.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure) and data governance practices is preferred.
Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and reporting best practices in a business context.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quick to learn and apply emerging technologies, especially in automation, data integration, and digital enablement.
Skilled in identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement using low-code/no-code tools such as Microsoft Power Platform.
Identify gaps between current state and future state, and help define practical steps to bridge them through data-driven solutions.
Skilled at connecting technical solutions to business needs, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Technically adept problem solver with a strong engineering mindset. Able to design, prototype, and implement innovative solutions using modern data tools and frameworks, while confidently challenging legacy processes and assumptions.
Curious, experimental, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve how we use data and technology to deliver business value.
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
