Summary

The successful candidate will hold a key role within the Neighborhood Marketing Team (NMT) for territory deployment, analytics, modeling, and process improvement. A background in data analytics and visualization, experience in process management, with strong leadership, communication and presentation skills, are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of a strategic data modeling and analytics practices.
  • Participates in the transformation of existing processes and tools with machine learning techniques and AI methodology
  • Work with territory and campaign data to derive insights to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and visualization techniques and tools including SQL, Python, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Support the build and implementation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large amounts of information and discover trends and patterns.
  • Effectively communicate solutions and analysis to various stakeholders
  • Participate in the development, improvement and implementation of new processes and initiatives to drive activity and incremental channel growth
  • Use various database environments and analytics tools to support the execution of a territory deployment strategy
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

Critical Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong data analytical & problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to be highly creative in formulating solutions.
  • Experience in data visualization with proficiency in tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, SAS.
  • Effective process/project management skills and the ability to navigate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects through effective prioritization.
  • Demonstration of business leadership including competencies in communication, and decision making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency is programming languages including SAS, SQL (Teradata), etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services, such as AWS or Google. Relevant certifications (e.g., Google & AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are an asset.
  • Telco Experience is considered an asset
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks and AI methodologies.
  • Advanced understanding of business operations, needs, and pain points.
