We are seeking a Programmer Analyst – Advisory to be a part of the Global Wealth Management Technology business in the Investment Platform Development team

 

Is this role right for you?

  • Leading the development of Mainframe application, from requirements analysis to implementation, and post implementation
  • 24/7 production support
  • Application support for maintenance and D2D operations
  • Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing all stages of Technology Product life cycle including prototyping/inception, testing, and production.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
  • Create and Support Test Automation and Continuous Integration & Deployment methodology/tooling and environment.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
  • System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
  • Create documentation such operational support documents.

 

Do you have the skills?

  • 5+ years of working experience with IBM Mainframe Technologies such as COBOL,IMS,DB2, JCL for software development
  • Working experience with SORT,ICETOOL, Abend-aid, File-aid and CA7
  • Hands on Experience with SAS reporting tool
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodology, understanding of current IT practices and systems development techniques
  • Understanding of File Transfer protocols and processes ie. FTP, SFTP, Connect Direct
  • Experience with change management and version control (Endevor and GIT hub)
  • Experience in writing/creating/updating technical documents
  • Experience in batch job/process scheduling
  • Solid experience working on Infrastructure centric platforms, a good understanding and working knowledge of the server and network configurations both for deployment and at run-time.
  • Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
  • Strong scripting (Ant and Maven) and automation skills
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Knowledge of Unix commands
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, and bit bucket, and other CICD dev tools such as Jira, Jenkins , Gradle

Nice to have:

  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with Google Cloud, Azure, AWS is required)
  • Familiarity with SQL and Oracle
  • Familiarity with event driven programming concepts
