We are seeking a passionate and skilled Intermediate Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in .NET, Spring Boot, Java, REST/JSON, and SQL. The candidate should also be well-versed in Agile methodologies and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
 

In this role you will: 

 

  • Effectively design, develop, integrate, test and implement complex business requirements
  • Apply technological knowledge to the design of models and/or systems, formulating detailed technical designs, investigating and recommending technical solutions, developing and delivering applications using agile development methodologies
  • Work at a high technical level of systems development while maintaining a good knowledge of the Real Estate Secured Lending business strategies and applications.
  • Execute technical solutions skillfully, collaborate with extended team, engage in production support and release implementation support
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Microsoft technologies (.NET) and/ or Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement and manage OAuth2 authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and ensure efficient data exchange using JSON.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 
 

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and additional software development best practices
  • Understanding of design patterns
  • Comprehensive understanding of an object-oriented language (e.g. Java, C#, C++)
  • Comprehensive understanding of at least one backend framework (Springboot or .Net)
  • Solid understanding of Javascript/Typescript and one front end framework (Angular or React)
  • Understanding of process best practices (version control, unit testing, test driven development)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes an asset
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices.
