The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for architecture, design, and development on Salesforce platform for complex business and technology initiatives for our various lines of business, day to day operations of Salesforce applications, providing thought leadership, navigating us through designs, architecture governance and application roadmaps. As technical leader, architect is expected to assist team in solving production issues and supporting team with investigations and being a key advocate of efficiency and continual improvement as we work to modernize.


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Analyse and estimate effort for new scope and requirements.

  • Architect, Design and Develop on Salesforce platform on multiple complex initiatives, and operations and stability of the application ecosystem.

  • Stay abreast of modern technologies and best practices, and recommend introduction of new technology and processes.

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and manage admin functions for Salesforce platform.

  • Support the business team on the proper use of the Salesforce by focusing on configuration rather than customization.

  • Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes; utilize internal defect tracking tool to create detailed, high quality error report.

  • Work with product owners and test engineers to support QA processes, review test plans, test coverage and help improve test automation.

  • Provide technical oversight and mentor Salesforce engineers, ensuring quality deliverables.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
 

  • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce Architecture experience and overall 10 + years of experience in Enterprise platforms.

  • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience designing solutions, configuring and developing in Apex code.

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce features including Apex programming, Lightning components and integration patterns.

  • Strong knowledge of Web Services, databases and security practices.

  • Must have experience Integrating Salesforce with other cloud based application systems using REST, SOAP API, Talend, Informatica.

  • Knowledge of deployment processes and release pipelines. E.g.: Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git.

  • Good understanding of packaged based deployments, Metadata API and Ant.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.

  • At least one Salesforce Architect certifications: Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce System Architect (certifications will be checked and validated).

  • Experience on Financial Services Cloud preferred.

  • Experience with Distributed Marketing preferred.

  • Ability to work in cross functional teams.

  • Experience in agile methodologies like SCRUM/Kanban.
