Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard in Northern Shore

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

As a Survellance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centre, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Assignments can take place across the Northern Shore, including:

  • Bathurst
  • Tracadie
  • Campbellton
  • Dalhousie
  • Belledune

Guards will be placed where needed and are trained to cover multiple sites across the region.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

  • Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Calling in every 2 hours for reporting and use of radio
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Maintain cleanliness at the end of each shift
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • First aid certification is an asset
  • Strong report writing skills, observation and alertness
  • Punctuality, reliability and respect is essential
  • Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Must have Driver's License and access to personal vehilce
  • Cellphone for safety check-ins while working alone
