Agilus is recruiting for an Overnight Operator II, Test Lab in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. The purpose of this job is to perform testing, conduct cartridge testing, and participate in finished goods testing of all product types. The role involves performing nonproduction testing of all product types under supervision, communicating ideas and suggestions for process improvement to leadership, and ensuring compliance with quality and EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines. This is an overnight position that works Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every second Saturday from 6:30 pm - 6:30 am. Responsibilities: Performs testing on the reference instrument Performs cartridge testing to support standard component quality control testing, “prebuild” of all product types; Coagulation, Immuno, and Core products Performs cartridge testing to support finished product Performs nonproduction testing of all product types Communicates ideas for improving processes to leadership Ensures the lab is left in good order and appropriate status information is communicated to counterparts on other shifts Requirements: 1 – 3 years college diploma 1 – 3 years relevant work experience Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own daily activities to meet established schedule Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of quality requirements within a regulated, cGMP environment Able to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every second Saturday overnight from 6:30 pm - 6:30 am Soft skills: Strong communication We offer: $27.05 hourly 1 year contract, with extension possibilities 4% vacation paid out weekly in lieu of benefits and PTO Ongoing training Possibilities for advancement Recognition reward opportunities Let's connect!
