Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the retail industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools in a cloud-native environment to deploy scalable, reliable ML solutions that power real-world applications. A typical day: Build and maintain scalable, production-grade ML systems Deploy models using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to operationalize ML models Integrate ML pipelines using Cloud Composer (Airflow) and BigQuery Leverage frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, and LangGraph Successful candidates will have: 3+ years of experience building production ML systems at scale Strong cloud expertise, ideally with GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, etc.) Proficiency with TensorFlow or PyTorch, Kubernetes, and Docker Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks Solid programming skills and engineering mindset (not just academic modeling) Soft skills: Can work effectively with internal and external partners Ability to work in a fast paced environment Strong communication skills Total rewards: Competitive contract rate Contract through December 2025, with high likelihood of extension Work with a modern ML stack including GCP, Vertex AI, and LangChain Collaborate with a highly skilled AI/ML engineering team Opportunity to contribute to enterprise-scale AI transformation
