Job Description

If you are looking for a job at the airport where you play a key role in national security, this is the one for you! As a Bilingual (FRE/ENG) Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will be ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact as an Airport Security Screening Officer

  • Protect the safety of thousands of travellers every day
  • Conduct passenger and carry-on baggage screening in compliance with national aviation security standards
  • Safeguard restricted areas by maintaining strict access control
  • Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats
  • Accurately document and report incidents, violations, and safety concerns
  • Support coordinated emergency response operations when required

 

Qualifications Required for an Airport Security Screening Officer

  • Be legally eligible to obtain required aviation security clearance (RAIC), which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of background checks with a clean criminal record
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
  • Ability to work on-site at the Mississauga airport location
