On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

The BBM Sales team is a rapidly evolving segment with innovative wireline products and Security services to make businesses across Canada more productive. We’re looking for a Partner Sales Manager to join our team in order to develop and performance manage Bell external sales partners.  The PSM is responsible for delivering on Wireline and Wireless sales targets, supporting partner sales efforts and recruiting new partners to drive channel success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage partner performance throughout sales cycle in order to meet sales objectives (channel funnel, forecast reporting and progress tracking)
  • Engage with both partners and end-customers to support sales opportunities
  • Drive wireline and Security sales activities while effectively managing partner funnels and sales forecasting
  • Provide ongoing sales coaching and enablement activities
  • Maintain high levels of knowledge and expertise regarding our targeted customer base
  • Manage partner and customer expectations throughout the sales cycle, ensuring Bell’s role as trusted advisor
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts and supporting documentation as required
  • Drive regular partner alignment sessions to review sales funnels, conduct win/loss analysis and develop strategies to identify and build new sales opportunities
  • Support and enable partner sales staff to identify, prospect and scope sales opportunities in new and targeted customer accounts
  • Conduct regularly scheduled structured meetings with Partner Principals and Managers to review business plans, performance metrics and strategic opportunities
  • Ensure Salesforce compliance and mandatory channel programs and policies are followed
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both pre and post sales activities
  • Ongoing strategic partner recruitment to maximize sales and revenue growth opportunities

Critical Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of B2B sales / channel management experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Post-Secondary education with a major in Business is an asset
  • Ability to coach, manage and influence external partners that are not direct employees
  • Superior negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to excel in a cross-functional team environment and link internal objectives to external partners’ business objectives
  • Solution-selling and ability to launch, lead and execute a sales pursuit
  • Knowledge and awareness of competitive market offerings  
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales positioning and value propositions for Bell Wireless and Wireline portfolios
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications & Salesforce CRM
  • Valid driver license for regular travel to partner and client locations
