We’re seeking an experienced SAP ABAP BTP Architect to lead high-impact development and implementation initiatives. You will be pivotal in architecting and delivering clean-core SAP S/4HANA extensions, modern ABAP development, full-stack BTP applications, and enterprise integrations. 6 Months contract, remote EST.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement custom extensions in SAP S/4HANA (1909+) using RAP, ABAP CDS, AMDP.

• Lead end-to-end SAP BTP developments, including flexible workflows, SAP Build/Process Automation, and RICEFW objects.

• Design and build integrations within the SAP ecosystem using Cloud Connector, APIs/OData, CPI, IDoc/RFC.

• Manage and deliver at least two full-cycle BTP applications—ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.

• Optimize ABAP code via performance tuning and DevOps best practices.

• Engage with stakeholders; excellent communication and negotiation to align technical solutions with business needs.

• Support EST time zone business hours for collaboration and project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP experience, with hands-on work on S/4HANA (1909+).

• Strong expertise in ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, RAP development.

• Proven experience in multiple BTP applications covering Workflow, Build tools, and Business Automation.

• Experience building integrations using SAP Cloud Connector, API/OData, CPI.

• Comprehensive RICEFW object development experience.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; effective stakeholder engagement.

• Must be available to work EST hours remotely out of Canada.

Desirable (Nice-to-Have)

• Exposure to SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) development.

• SAP certifications (ABAP Cloud, BTP Solution Architect, RAP, etc.)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps in SAP environments.
