Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Surrey, British Columbia
Work Environment: On site
24/7 Clinic Shifts: 8-hour and 12-hour options - 

Bayshore Medical Personnel is in search of multiple Registered Nurses who are in interested in part-time or casual work to join a healthcare clinic that provides medical services for all clients of various risk levels. This includes but is not limited to: adult males, adult females, families, pregnant women, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, minors, persons suffering from a medical condition or disability, persons with suspected or diagnosed mental illness, and victims of human trafficking.

The Registered Nurse will receive, assess, and treat clients in their care when medical attention is required or requested by the client, as well as coordinate the care of clients with local health care providers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing medical assessments.
  • Checking and monitoring basic vital signs.
  • Preparing, distributing and administering medications and over-the-counter items.
  • Maintaining and updating medical records; and
  • Performing mental health and psychosocial assessments.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years, working as a Registered Nurse
  • A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
  • A current and valid Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (must be within one-year)

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

All candidates will be required to obtain and show proof of:

  • A valid RELIABILITY STATUS security clearance (request form and fingerprint form provided at time of hire)
  • A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) (must be within one-year)
  • Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (must be within two-years)
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (must be within two-years)

Hourly Rate: $50 per hour
