Buyer needed for a contract in Redwater! Start ASAP, $35/hour + Agilus is recruiting for a Buyer in the oil and gas sector in Redwater, Alberta. We're actively hiring in Redwater for a Buyer to join a fantastic team onsite. This person will need to be experienced with working as a Buyer in maintenance, turnaround, and small projects and possesses outstanding negotiation skills. Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance and ensuring policies and processes are in place. Purchasing inventory items and procurement of engineered and fabricated items. Creating/executing purchase orders and contracts. Issuing RFQs and RFPs and analyzing bids. Ensuring cost saving initiatives are in place. Maintaining all site procurement documentation. Requirements: 7 years of experience working as a Buyer in maintenance, turnaround, and small projects like plant change. Post-secondary completion and an SCMP designation. Excellent negotiation and procurement skills. Experience developing fit for purpose strategies and execution plans.
