Accounts Payable Coordinator (Contract) Agilus is recruiting for a Accounts Payable Coordinator in the Mining Industry in Toronto, Ontario. An opportunity is available for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in the Finance department at the Corporate Office in Toronto. The role involves managing vendor inquiries and overseeing accounts payable processes. It requires full-time on-site presence to support collaboration, with flexible arrangements available to help balance personal and professional commitments. A typical day: Manage the AP inbox, prioritize inquiries, and respond or escalate as needed. Track all vendor inquiries, payments, and follow-ups using Excel logs. Reconcile supplier statements and confirm outstanding invoices. Ensure payment commitments are communicated and agreements are met. Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts. Conduct aging analysis and identify clean-up actions. Validate AP accruals for completeness and accuracy. Record and offset credit notes against invoice payments. Successful candidates will have: 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or accounts payable. Post-secondary education in accounting or finance. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Intermediate Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables). Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience with AP inbox management and vendor coordination. Familiarity with automation tools for AP is an asset.
