Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Engineering Sector in Calgary, Alberta. Our Water Solutions client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with 7–15+ years of multidisciplinary experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPC and design-build environments, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept through to commissioning. A typical day: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and deliver design-build solutions. Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports. Support procurement and fabrication processes by providing technical input and resolving design issues. Oversee construction and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met. Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively resolve technical and logistical challenges. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support business development efforts as needed. Successful candidates will have: 7–15+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment, preferably in industrial or water treatment sectors. Proven experience with EPC and design-build (packager) project delivery models. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline); P.Eng designation is required. Total rewards: Competitive compensation and benefits package.
