Salary: From 70 to 80 per Hour
 

We are seeking a Programmer Analyst for our public sector client. This hybrid role focuses on analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business objectives. The position offers a balance of development, solution design, operational support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications in line with specifications and standards

  • Analyze business and technical requirements; contribute to solution design

  • Support and troubleshoot software issues, working closely with technical teams

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and operational procedures

  • Participate in the planning and deployment of software improvements, upgrades, and new solutions

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, SQL, PowerShell (PHP is an asset)

  • Experience with Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Reporting Services/Power BI

  • Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, Web APIs, REST, authentication methods)

  • Familiarity with Git (Azure DevOps an asset); collaborative development with source control

  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
