Position Summary

 

Our Warehouse & Assembly technicians are a critical part of our operations here at Stealth Monitoring. They build and assemble our unique technology products, assist in burning them in, refurbish equipment that is returned from the field and generally ensure that all of the equipment is in top condition.

  • Duties & Responsibilities

     

    Build / Assembly & Pre-installation preparation

     

    • Build or assemble Stealth Monitoring technology products as developed by Operations, Research & Development, or Sales teams
    • Complete the assembly or preparation of all field monitoring equipment required for projects or installations 
    • Complete all required steps within the Burn-In process to ensure that all technology products built or assembled are fully functional prior to shipment or installation
    • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders about poor or troublesome designs, layouts, etc 
    • Make suggestions to better improve products
    • Escalate any build issues to internal stakeholders, etc

     

    Equipment receiving, refurbishment and restocking

     

    • Receive all returned field equipment from field technicians and process them for receiving into ERP system
    • Refurbish all received field equipment, returning all equipment to the best possible condition prior to returning the product back to warehouse for re-deployment. If equipment cannot be returned to stores, begin the repair or scrap processes

Configuration Tech I Responsibilities

  • Qualifications

     

    • Technical diploma in computers/electronics or equivalent preferred
    • 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
    • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
    • Must have a valid G class drivers license with clean driving record

    • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties, as well as technicians to create a strong team environment
    • The ability to work independently and to prepare all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ability lift up to 50 lbs
    • Strong organizational skills to set priorities and meet tight deadlines
    • Analytical approach to problem resolution
    • Microsoft Office skills
    • Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning

     

    Working Conditions

     

    • Warehouse environment
    • Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
