Agilus is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate - Wash Department in the linen and textiles industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support their Wash Alley department. This is a critical area for our clients’ operational excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for taking soiled linens, rugs/mats, and uniforms, loading them into industrial-grade wash machines, monitoring the machines, and ensuring the process is running smoothly. You will also ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards. Responsibilities: Load soiled linens and various textiles into industrial-grade machinery Use of industrial-grade machinery Monitor the washes, prepare for upcoming washes Unload machinery as needed, bring items to other departments for next steps Requirements: Must be accustomed to a fast-paced environment Must be precise and accurate, detail-oriented Must be comfortable with heavy manual labour Steel toe shoes/safety boots are a requirement Soft skills: Good communication What's in it for you: $17.20 hourly Consistent weekly hours and schedule 4% vacation paid out weekly Additional opportunities with Agilus
