Our client is seeking multiple Customer Service Representatives to join their team in Fredericton, NB on a contract basis!

Work Location: Fredericton, NB
Start Date: August 1st
Contract Duration: 4 months
Pay Rate: $18.22/hour.

Job Description:

Customer Service Representative (English)

  • Training Duration: 4 weeks (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM AST)
  • Hours of Operation:
    • Monday to Friday: 7 AM – 11 PM AST
    • Saturday and Sunday: 10 AM – 10 PM AST
  • Work Schedule: 35-44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Shift bidding based on monthly performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer inquiries and determine the necessary actions to resolve them within established guidelines.
  • Update accounts and complete billing transactions to rectify errors and process adjustments.
  • Suggest additional or alternative products or services to meet customer needs.
  • Proactively maintain and enhance ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Escalate calls as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service delivery or customer contact services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good knowledge of customer care functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and sensitivity to customer needs.
  • Ability to handle irate customers in stressful situations.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Openness to feedback and ability to act on it.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and days.
