Our leading consulting client is looking for a UAT Tester to join their team on a 6 month term. This will be a hybrid role in Downtown Toronto.

Job Description: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative UAT Functional Tester with experience in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met and systems function as expected prior to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional and UAT testing across banking platforms to validate end-to-end business processes.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Document and report defects, and follow up on resolution with cross-functional teams.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, including presenting test results and recommendations.

• Utilize knowledge of OLBB (Online Business Banking) and point-of-sale systems to enhance testing accuracy and relevance (preferred but not required).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UAT and functional testing, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with OLBB and POS (point of sale) systems is an asset.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
