Agilus is recruiting for a Business Analyst in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support a high-impact transformation program within their Private Wealth division. This business-facing role reports directly into the Private Wealth strategy team and will work alongside a senior project lead and executive stakeholders to shape and execute a strategic roadmap of initiatives. The focus of this role is to support business analysis and planning across both Canadian and U.S. private wealth operations, with an emphasis on core banking products, particularly lending and deposit offerings. A typical day: Supporting the Private Wealth strategy team by shaping and advancing a transformation roadmap. Working closely with senior project leads and business executives to gather and document requirements. Analyzing current processes and recommending improvements tied to business goals. Preparing detailed business cases, workflows, and requirement documentation. Representing business interests in ongoing transformation initiatives and project meetings. Helping define future-state business capabilities and support mobilization planning. Requirements: 5–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in wealth management or private banking. Solid knowledge of core banking products, especially lending and deposit solutions. Proven ability to manage and deliver requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping. Experience interacting with VP-level stakeholders and aligning business needs with project outcomes Familiarity with transformation initiatives, strategic planning, or business architecture is a strong asset. Prior experience with the client organization or large Canadian bank is considered a bonus. Soft skills: Team-oriented mindset — collaborates well and supports the overall success of the strategy team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to quickly absorb complex business information. Effective communicator — comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and presenting insights clearly. Proactive and independent — able to own deliverables and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable and fast learner — able to ramp up quickly on new areas of the business and pivot as priorities evolve.
