About the Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an early-career procurement professional looking to build hands-on experience within a large public sector environment. You’ll support day-to-day procurement activities while learning how formal tendering and contract processes work in a regulated setting.
Working alongside experienced procurement and supply chain professionals, you’ll contribute to meaningful work that supports public services across Ontario. This role offers exposure to vendors, internal stakeholders, and structured procurement processes that will strengthen your foundation in the field.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll assist with the development of procurement documents and coordinate tendering activities from start to finish.
In this role, you’ll evaluate bid submissions and support contract award and approval processes.
You’ll act as a key liaison between internal clients and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups.
You’ll support the procurement of inventory and non-stock parts while maintaining accurate bidder and vendor lists.
You’ll prepare tender, proposal, and standard commercial analysis documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Skills and Qualifications
6–12 months of experience in a procurement or purchasing support role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
