We are seeking a Junior Procurement Assistant to join our Crown Corporation client for a 6-month contract (with potential for extension). This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in procurement and supply chain within the public sector.

• Onsite full-time for the first 3 weeks (training period)
• Hybrid model thereafter – 3 days onsite per week
• Location: North York
• Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of procurement documents and coordinate the tendering process
• Evaluate bid results and support contract award processes
• Act as a liaison between internal clients and external vendors
• Support procurement of inventory and non-stock parts
• Prepare tender and proposal documentation
• Maintain lists of qualified bidders for various goods and services
• Obtain and review competitive tenders (formal and informal)
• Prepare standard commercial analysis documents

Qualifications:

• 6–12 months of experience in a procurement support role
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
