Salary: From $150,000 to $160,000 per Year
 
Our client is seeking a Technical Architect to join their dynamic team. Our client is a boutique consultancy specializing in Data, Analytics, and AI, including Generative AI and Machine Learning. They partner with organizations to accelerate digital transformation by leveraging modern cloud platforms and delivering fast, iterative outcomes across the data stack. With a hands-on, value-driven approach, they embed deeply into client operations to drive meaningful, data-powered impact.

This role requires hybrid work from the client's office in downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be elligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement end-to-end technical solutions, with a specialization in Microsoft Azure and Databricks, tailored to our client’s business objectives and technical landscape.
  • Lead technical delivery across the full engineering lifecycle—from proof of concept through to long-term implementation.
  • Guide and support technical project teams, ensuring solution design aligns with best practices and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with our client’s stakeholders to translate evolving functional and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment—navigating new industries, emerging technologies, and shifting priorities with ease.
  • Proactively identify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure all technical deliverables support client success.
  • Uphold high standards of client service and delivery excellence throughout every engagement.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with solution architecture, and implementation, ideally as a certified Solution Architect.
  • Extensive experience in a client-facing consulting role, leading technical strategy discussions and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage challenging client engagements, negotiate technical decisions, and maintain positive relationships under pressure.
  • Experience with Cloud implementation and transformation initiatives
  • Proven, hands-on experience architecting and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Databricks extensively for data engineering and analytics workloads.
  • Experience with providing technical direction and mentoring a team to continually improve solution delivery
  • Expert understanding of software & hardware delivery lifecycle with packaged software and in-house developed software
  • Proficiency in system integration methodologies and technologies
  • Extensive skills related to cloud infrastructure, networks, end-user technologies, architecture, and platform engineering technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical and business requirements
  • Experience in retail marketing or digital marketing is preferred
  • Experience with marketing technologies including Customer Data Platform (CDP), Marketing Automation, Google Ad Manager, Google Marketing Platform is preferred
  • Agile certifications (CSM, CSPO) are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
