The Senior Manager, Risk and Security (Ops and Marketing Tech) leads the strategic design, integration, and optimization of risk management and security solutions across the Ops and Marketing Technology business unit! This role is responsible for ensuring robust, scalable, and secure architectures that safeguard business assets, align with enterprise and business unit standards, and support organizational risk mitigation and security initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Supports development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates assessment and cyber risk analysis activities, supports development of comprehensive cyber risk reporting capabilities, and establishes critical metrics to determine controls efficacy.
  • Monitors the implementation of cyber risk controls for technology and business project plans.
  • Performs high quality analysis of cybersecurity risk data to identify causes of trends and works with information owners to detail control plans.
  • Leads meetings and analyzes cybersecurity risk indicators and builds completed level dashboards.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of governance-related processes and activities and supports updates of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Supports in managing cybersecurity budgets, tracking expenditure, and optimizing resource allocation
  • Supports security and business leaders in developing and tracking metrics to assess cybersecurity programs.
  • Collaborates with response teams to develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring swift and effective responses to security incidents.
  • Monitors and evaluates cybersecurity controls and governance processes regularly.
  • Recommends improvements to enhance the overall security processes.
  • Stays updated on evolving cybersecurity threats, risk assessment methodologies, and reports leading practices, contributing to the improvement of risk reporting processes.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Solid understanding of information security controls and risks, risk management, IT governance, and security tools and technologies
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, controls, and leading practices
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection laws relevant to the organization
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity governance frameworks and their implementation
  • Knowledge of security technologies
  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis and reporting toolsets
  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Salesforce, or Adobe Experience Manager are a plus.
  • ITILv3 certifications are a plus.
  • Solid understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills in data warehousing methodologies and tools are preferred.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD
