Who we are looking for : 
We are looking for talented individuals to join our winning team where you will have a chance to innovate, grow and to do what really matters. As a RF System Designer Wireless Network Planning & Performance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, integrating and optimization of in-Building systems of the radio access networks 5G, LTE, HSPA, IoT, WPN, etc.     


What you will do

  • Design in-building system (IBS) in iBwave tool, work with other stakeholders to provide suitable solutions considering cost, timeline, and coverage requirement
  • Analyze walk test measurement, existing network performance to determine IBS requirement and suggest possible solutions
  • Prepare prediction models in iBwave, calculate link budget, safety code 6, DAS test plan for proposed IBS to ensure that RF installations meet the necessary standards
  • Produce plan for various RF testing, such as CW testing, PIM testing, external interference analysis, etc.
  • Issue different RF design documents/ word orders to other stakeholders for IBS deployment   
  • Set radio system parameters for 5G SA/ 5G NSA/ LTE/ UMTS network 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate challenges on IBS projects 
  • Work with other engineering departments as required on IBS projects 
  • Maintain accurate project information in database/tracking spreadsheets 
  • Liaison with equipment vendors for products related updates 
  • Interfaces with external clients to understand and confirm wireless in-building system requirements as needed  
  • Implement automation effectively where possible to reduce manual tasks and improve performance efficiently  

 

What you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree with 3-6 years of work experience in a wireless environment  
  • Certification on iBwave tool is a plus  
  • Strong understanding of Wireless Network functionality and elements. Full Scope of HSPA/LTE/ 5G Radio Access Network 
  • Strong knowledge of HSPA, LTE and 5G capacity requirements  
  • Strong understanding of the RAN (Radio Access Network) capacity  
  • Familiarity with Ericsson radio base station hardware and configuration  
  • Strong aptitude for research, data analysis and trend development.  
  • Strong planning and budget, cost estimation and accounting skills. 
  • Business and IT Process Automation  
  • Ability to provide direction and guidance to internal and external groups.  
  • Specific background in projects involving multiple geographic regions, cross-functional teams  
  • Ability to manage and track projects 
  • Ability to operate autonomously within general direction guidelines.  
  • Personal Competencies: Leadership; Problem Solving / Judgment; Customer Service Orientation; Teamwork and Collaboration; Initiative; Achievement Orientation.  
  • Highly motivated individual with superior organizational and analytical skills
