Here’s the scoop - Summary

We are looking for a Global Content Coordinator to support the creation, organization, and distribution of digital content across international markets. This role is vital in ensuring consistency, accuracy, and local relevance across multiple platforms, including websites, product catalogs, media, CRM content, and social media.

As a key collaborator between global and regional teams, this individual will help manage content workflows, maintain editorial calendars, and oversee digital asset organization. They will play a crucial role in ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines while optimizing for engagement and performance. By coordinating cross-functional efforts and leveraging analytics, the Global Content Coordinator will help drive impactful storytelling and seamless content execution across diverse audiences.

This role reports to the Senior Global Manager of Pet Owner Journey & Communities and will work out of our Corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta on a hybrid schedule.

What a typical day looks like

  • Content Asset Management: Collaborating with our Marketing Services team, maintain and organize digital content libraries and ensure assets are up-to-date, accessible and correctly tagged.
  • Manage website content across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and localization where needed.
  • Coordinate product catalogs across different markets, assisting with updates and accuracy.
  • SEO Optimization: Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience applying them to enhance content visibility in search engines.
  • Localization & Regional Coordination: Partner with Marketing Services and regional teams to localize content, support in-market campaigns, and maintain version control for consistency across languages and markets.
  • Editorial Calendar & Workflow: Maintain a shared content calendar, coordinate content requests and deadlines, track approvals, and ensure adherence to content governance processes.
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Assist in developing content strategies that align with business goals and audience engagement.
  • Monitor and report on global content performance using analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep projects and deliverables on schedule.
  • Research industry trends and audience preferences to contribute ideas for engaging content.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; 1-3 years of experience in content coordination or digital marketing.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics tools, marketing automation platforms); experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Salsify is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, including metadata optimization and improving content discoverability
  • Understanding of how to adapt content for global audiences, including language localization, cultural sensitivity, and version control.
  • Organized and detail-focused, with the ability to manage timelines, editorial calendars, and content workflows across teams and regions.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Balanced thinker with both creative insight and a strategic mindset to support engaging digital experiences.
  • Passion for digital content and an interest in helping build a global community of Pet Lovers.
