Our client located in Oakville is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join their team on a contract basis through November 2025. This is a hybrid role which requires 2-days onsite.

The ideal candidate will provide administrative and customer service support, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of their services. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Experience working within a public sector setting is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line customer service support via phone and email, addressing client inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Review, process, and follow up on applications and service requests.
  • Accurately input and maintain data in the Client Management System (CMS).
  • Support case management activities and assist in resolving client concerns or escalations.
  • Collaborate with management on ongoing case file reviews and updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal guidelines and policies.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience in a professional setting.
  • Experience in the public sector is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working with client databases or case management systems.
