Position Overview:
Reporting to the IT Manager, this role supports both internal team members and the IT department by providing technical assistance and handling a variety of IT support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop issues, including software and hardware installation, upgrades, and system configurations
Set up desktops, laptops, phones (both mobile and desk), and printers for new staff
Offer mobile device support and manage account setup/deactivation for users
Diagnose and resolve basic connectivity issues related to servers and network equipment
Perform routine administrative tasks on the Cisco phone system
Provide initial support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
Maintain IT equipment inventory and coordinate the disposal of outdated hardware
Create documentation and user guides to support commonly reported issues
Learn key business systems to provide better technical assistance
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Computer Systems Technology or a related field (preferred)
2–3 years of experience in IT support
Familiarity with hardware such as PCs, printers, switches, and mobile devices
Experience with desktop operating systems and software applications
Basic support experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Office, Dynamics NAV/CRM, SharePoint)
Foundational knowledge of networks and troubleshooting
Experience with tools like InTune, CrowdStrike, and SharePoint is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
Bilingual in English and French
Some travel may be required
