Salary: From 20 to 28 per Hour
 
Our automotive client is urgently looking for a Systems Admin to join their team on a 2 month contract to support onboarding of new staff. This will be a hybrid role in Thornhill. 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the IT Manager, this role supports both internal team members and the IT department by providing technical assistance and handling a variety of IT support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop issues, including software and hardware installation, upgrades, and system configurations

  • Set up desktops, laptops, phones (both mobile and desk), and printers for new staff

  • Offer mobile device support and manage account setup/deactivation for users

  • Diagnose and resolve basic connectivity issues related to servers and network equipment

  • Perform routine administrative tasks on the Cisco phone system

  • Provide initial support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and coordinate the disposal of outdated hardware

  • Create documentation and user guides to support commonly reported issues

  • Learn key business systems to provide better technical assistance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Systems Technology or a related field (preferred)

  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support

  • Familiarity with hardware such as PCs, printers, switches, and mobile devices

  • Experience with desktop operating systems and software applications

  • Basic support experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Office, Dynamics NAV/CRM, SharePoint)

  • Foundational knowledge of networks and troubleshooting

  • Experience with tools like InTune, CrowdStrike, and SharePoint is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting

  • Bilingual in English and French

  • Some travel may be required
