As a Hospital lead Security Guard, there is a high focus on  leading a team of trained security guards, customer service, de-escalation and Scheduled patrols as you will be working with people all shift, in Hospital environments

Responsibilities for Hospital Lead Security Guard

  • Greet visitors, verify identity, issue/manage access cards, and provide guidance upon entry.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify hazards, suspicious activity, or safety concerns.
  • Inspect and ensure proper functioning of security equipment; report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Respond to incidents, fire alarms, and emergencies; administer first aid and coordinate with emergency services
  • Supervise and support security officers during shifts; maintain and adjust daily scheduling.
  • Ensure all guards adhere to post orders and procedures; update and enforce security protocols.
  • Oversee effective use of G-Track and CCTV systems during patrols and throughout shifts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with the site client for daily updates, concerns, and feedback.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation with accuracy.
  • Perform front desk duties and other site-specific responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Hospital Security Security Guard

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Manitoba security license
  • First aid certification an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent phone & computer skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and orally
  • Leadership experience ( Asset)
  • Be able to work night shifts
  • High school education or equivalent
