To support upcoming client needs, we are building a pool of garbage collectors. Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude could result in a permanent opportunity with benefits. If you have the ability to routinely lift and carry 50lbs and work in a variety of weather conditions, this may be a great opportunity for you. You will: Ride on the back of a garbage truck and collect waste Ensure no waste is left behind at the pickup locations Monitor the area around the truck to keep operations safe for pedestrians and vehicles Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively Reliable transportation as the worksite is not accessible via public transportation Must have your own CSA approved steel toed boots, safety vest and gloves Flexible to perform other general labour tasks as required What's in it for you: $18.00 hourly Paid weekly Daytime hours Potential for role to become permanent
